CINQUE TERRE

L'area delle Cinque Terre è situata nell'estremo lembo della Liguria di Levante, a circa 130 chilometri Genova e 10 da La Spezia.
Arrivare nelle Cinque Terre non è difficile, essendo possibile usare il treno, l'auto e perfino il battello.
Il treno è certamente il mezzo più semplice, rapido ed economico.
L’auto, in un'area caratterizzata da profonde vallate, non è certo altrettanto comoda.
Il battello nella buona stagione e quando il mare è calmo, rappresenta una alternativa interessante per giungere nelle Cinque Terre; servizi di linea sono infatti garantiti da molte località da Genova fino alla Versilia.
I collegamenti aerei: l'aereoporto internazionale "Galileo Galilei" di Pisa (tel. 050.443.25) dista circa 80 chilometri, mentre l'aereoporto internazionale "Cristoforo Colombo" di Genova (tel. 010.651.23.09) è a circa 100.

Vernazza

L'ampia torre, le tranquille terrazze e il braccio del porticciolo sottolineato da ampi scogli, rappresentano il simbolo stesso del relax. Vernazza, il cui centro è straordinariamente animato e ricco di locali tipici, offre sempre e comunque angoli di tranquillità e scorci suggestivi grazie alla sua posizione raccolta e all'impostazione di un paese che non ha cambiato il paesaggio per nascere ma vi si è adagiato all'interno in uno splendido abbraccio.

 

La Via Dell'Amore

Utilizzando come punto di riferimento l'uscita della stazione ferroviaria di Vernazza, scendendo lungo la strada pedonale che si dirige al mare, sulla sinistra si incontra una salita che conduce alla Via dell'Amore, percorso celebre ed evocativo che collega il borgo con le Cinque Terre con prima tappa Manarola. Il bivio è segnalato da un cartello.
Il sentiero è scavato nella terra e nella roccia e si snoda interamente sulla costa a pochi metri dal mare offrendo panorami suggestivi immersi nella più varia delle vegetazioni mediterranea fatta di Agavi, FIchi D'india, Sugheri.
Il percorso che si snoda lungo le Cinque Terre è un tratto del sentiero azzurro, il quale un tempo funzionava come via d'accesso alla polveriera dove nascevano gli esplosivi utilizati per la costruzione della ferrovia La Spezia-Genova.
In seguito lo stesso percorso, dopo un all'argamento operato per rendere la via praticabile da tutti, è servito da via di collegamento rapida ed oggi rappresenta uno dei tratti piu belli della costa. Il prezzo d'accesso alla Via Dell'Amore è di 3 Euro, attraversa il parco nazionale delle Cinque Terre, e garantisce passeggiate di ogni livello e lunghezza con la possibilità, ad ogni stazione, di tornare rapidamente al punto di partenza grazie all'alta frequenza dei treni.

Cinque Terre

The Cinque Terre are located at the very far end of the East Ligurian Coast, about 130 km from Genoa an 10 km from La Spezia.
To reach the Cinque Terre is easy, by train, by car and even by boat.
The train is surely the easiest, faster and most economic way.
By car in an area caracterised by deep valleys is not as easy; if you like to move by this means, we suggest you to reach Levanto or la Spezia, park your car near the railwail station and then move to (and in) the Cinque Terre by train.
The boat is an interesting alternative to reach the Cinque Terre during the good season and when the sea is calm; regular boat services are available from many places from Genoa to Versilia.
By plane: the Pisa international airport "Galileo Galilei" (tel. 050.443.25) is about 80 km far, while the Genoa international airport "Cristoforo Colombo" is about 100 km far.

Vernazza

The old wide tower, the calm terraces and the arm of the little port represent the symbol of relax. Vernazza, whose center is extraordinarily animated and rich of typical shops and restaurants, always offers evocative angles of tranquillity thanks to its position of a country that have not changed the landscape in order to be born but lay down in a splendid embrace of the coast.


La Via Dell'Amore (Love Way)

Using as point of reference the exit of the railway station of Vernazza, coming down along the pedestrian road that heads to the sea, on the left appears large old stairs that leads to the Via Dell'Amore (Love Way), famous and evocative rural way that connects the village to the Cinque Terre (Five Lands) with first stop Manarola. The crossroad is marked from a sign.
The path is dug in the earth and the cliff and run along the entire coastside offering dipped evocative panoramas and typical Mediterranean vegetation made of Agaves, Fichi D'india, Corks.
This old way born along the Five Lands (Cinque Terre) is a part of the Sentiero Azzurro (Blue Path), which one time worked as access route to the explosives factory used to demolish coastal rock and build the railroad Spezia-Genoa. Later the same path, after an enlargement done to make the way practicable by everyone, became a way of fast connection and today it represents one of the most beautiful features of the Ligurian coast.
The price to enter the Love Way (Via Dell'Amore) is of 3 Euro, it crosses the national park of Five Lands and it guarantees walks of every level and length with the possibility, to every station, to quickly return to the departure point thanks to the high frequency of the trains.
